Clinicians
Why go beyond the standard of care?
All of us in the field — scientists, oncologists, surgeons, clinicians – must acknowledge the standard of care is not saving enough lives. The field of precision medicine; specifically, Live Tissue Science, however, can change the landscape of cancer treatment. Let us connect you to personalized research for your clinical benefit. It will differentiate your practice, placing it on the forefront of offering targeted cancer treatment options for your patients. By partnering with SpeciCare, you will have easy access to tissue storage for your patients’ care plans. This opens the doors to hundreds of new treatment options, changing the future possibilities for you patients.

Results create options beyond standard of care
Currently, only three percent of patients are placed in clinical trials. While the individual patient may benefit from participation, the ultimate purpose of that clinical trial is to create new treatment options for the patient of the future. We hope individualizing clinical trial participation and returning information back to the patient will help shift research to focus more on the patients of today. This will also allow the 85% of patients being treated in their local community access to leading-edge solutions that transcend geographic boundaries.

Storing Your Patient’s Tissue
Cryopreserved Dissociated Cells
CRYOPRESERVED CHUNK TISSUE
FFPE BLOCK
Upon receipt of your patient’s tissue, the pathology laboratory will process the tissue to confirm percent necrosis, percent viable tumor and document the number of aliquots of viable dissociated tissue and the number of vials of chunk tissue that were successfully collected and preserved for physician and patient directed use.
We help you create new treatment opportunities and clinically actionable research information in the treatment of your patients.
Patient Benefits
Benefits to storing living tumor tissue
Options
Storing tumor tissue opens the door to significant opportunities for long-term survival, including creating access to researchers, clinical trials, ex vivo therapy testing, clinical vaccines, organoid creation and more. More than half of patients who store their tumor tissue utilize a portion within the first year, creating access to new options that can be delivered locally with the patient’s own clinical care team.

Options with Live Tissue Science
CHEMO-SENSITIVITY TESTING
TUMOR-INFILTRATING LYMPHOCYTE (TILS)
Cancer is a genetic disease that is caused by changes in the DNA that change the way cells function. By testing your unique combination of genetic changes and tumor DNA sequencing, researchers can help provide information to your medical team that can aid in their treatment planning. Knowledge of your specific genetic mutation profile helps especially in identifying targeted therapies and finding precise options showing the most promise for your genetic make-up.
ACCESS TO CLINICAL TRIALS
INDIVIDUALIZED VACCINE
Your tumor tissue can be used to create a vaccine that is personal to your cancer, body and immune system. The vaccine will allow your body to recognize the cancer cells so it can more effectively fight them while stimulating your immune system.
